Sat. June 17 (aka: Day #0) meet in Albany, MN at the high school; check-in 4-6 p.m. Sun. June 18 (aka: day #1) loop ride from Albany to St. Cloud (~28-62 miles) *SAMPLER OPTION DAY (loop options same as weeklong riders) Mon. June 19 (aka: Day #2) Albany to Alexandria (~47-67 miles) *SAMPLER OPTION DAY (out & back options on trail from ~14-70 miles total) Tue. June 20 (aka: Day #3) Day off to explore Alexandria Wed. June 21 (aka: Day #4) Alexandria to Morris (~52 miles) Thu. June 22 (aka: Day #5) Morris to Sauk Centre (~57 miles) Fri. June 23 (aka: Day #6) Sauk Centre to Little Falls (~52 miles) Sat. June 24 (aka: Day #7) Little Falls back to Albany (~31 miles)
*EXPLANATION OF SAMPLER OPTIONS: Sunday, June 18:
Bike 14 miles from Albany to St. Joseph, eat lunch, and bike 14 miles back to Albany
Bike 18 miles to Waite Park (Rest Stop #1), bike 4 miles back on the trail to St. Joseph, each lunch, and bike 14 miles back to Albany
Bike the full 62 mile loop from Albany to Waite Park to Cold Spring to St. Joseph and back to Albany
Monday, June 19:
Bike 7 miles to Freeport and then 7 miles back to the vehicles back in Albany
Bike 13 miles to Melrose and then 13 miles back to the vehicles back in Albany
Bike 20 miles to Sauk Centre (Rest Stop #1) and then 20 miles back to the vehicles back in Albany
Bike 35 miles to Osakis (Rest Stop #2 and Lunch too) and then 35 miles back to the vehicles back in Albany
Drive your vehicle to Sauk Centre, bike 15 mile to Osakis, and then 15 miles back to your vehicle in Albany
The actual route will be about half biking trails (including the Lake Wobegon and Central Lakes Trails) and half county roads...which adds up to a whole lotta fun! (Note: mileage and route subject to change)
