We need some assistance during the week of the bike tour to help make our event as successful as possible. If you know of some non-riders that would like to join us, share the information below with them. In return, registration is waived for the staff/volunteer, and the staff/volunteer may name one other person for a guaranteed slot on the tour.

Support Vehicle Driver:  ALL POSITIONS FILLED
Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to use their own (properly insured) vehicle (one with the ability to transport at least 2 bikes is preferred.) Responsibilities include working with the other support vehicles that drive along the route each day looking for riders that may need mechanical or medical assistance. Applicants need to be available from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. each day of official group rides (6 days.) Registration fee is waived. Perfect for a non-biking spouse/partner. Position can be shared between two people.

REST STOP CREW:  ALL POSITIONS FILLED
Help distribute snacks, fruit, water, and electrolytes at one of the two daily rest stops. Drive along in your own vehicle.

BEVERAGE CREW: POSITION FILLED
Set out milk/juice for breakfast, drop off water at the rest stops, and make iced tea for lunch/dinner. Person needs to be able to lift a 5 gallon beverage dispenser and make use of their own vehicle.

​Luggage Crew: ALL POSITIONS FILLED
Must have a valid driver's license (special truck license not needed). Responsibilities include daily driving of a 22-26' truck, loading/unloading luggage for 200 riders. Luggage crew staff need to be able to lift 50 pounds and work as a team. This is a paid position, plus tips and meals. We provide the vehicle.
